want you to make money, but we also want you to enjoy what
you do. Now, we know that it can be a little bit daunting
to set up your own live 121 line and you probably have loads
of questions. We have produced a FAQ's page to help you maximize
your business and your earnings potential.

When will I get paid?
Good point! We pay you one month in arrears to an account
of your choice.
How much will I get paid?
We pay you 40p per minute, based on your callers paying £1
per minute.
Are there any other costs?
Apart from the one off set up fee, there are no other charges
to pay us at all. You are responsible for your own advertising
costs.

How will I know
how well I am doing?
You send us an email, once a week with your premium rate number
in the subject heading and we will respond with your statistics,
telling you how many calls you have had and how long the callers
stayed on the line.
Do
I need to have a separate telephone line installed?
Technically
the answer is no. When you apply you are given your own unique
Premium Rate Number that is ported over your own telephone
line. When the caller rings you they will hear a short message
before they are able to talk to you. This is an IVR (Interactive
Voice Response) message that will automatically tell the caller
the cost of the call, records the call, etc. and negates the
need for you to do so, and lets you get straight on with the
action.
It also protects you against breaching the ICSTIS Code on
answering a Live Service and negates the need for any prior
permission or a large financial bond that you would normally
needed to have placed.
Therefore, in answer to the question…your normal phone line
is enough. However, when your phone rings you will not know
if it is a friend, family or a client. You could, of course,
answer by a simple "Hi!" and then proceed when you are sure
who it is. But this might lose you your confidence. Therefore,
we highly recommend that you have a separate line installed,
so that you know when the phone rings, it is business and
you can answer accordingly in a sexier way.

What
exactly is the IVR message you put on our line?
It is just a short message that warns callers of the cost
and ensures you are operating under the ICSTIS Code.

If
I take your service do I want a 0906 or a 0909 number and
what's the difference?
A number beginning 0909 is called a top shelf number and can
only be used in such publications. A bottom shelf number beginning
with 0906 can be advertised anywhere. Often 0906 services
are advertised in such a way that they appear just as adult
as the 0909 numbers. Study where they are published such as
The Sun or Sport to see what we mean. So really it depends
on where you intend to advertise, as to whether you want a
0906 or a 0909 number. But a lot of clients have both and
it is further explained below.
If
I take a 0906 number how suggestive can the conversation become?
There is really no answer to this one. Technically a 0906
number is a non-adult one. However, we have learnt from experience
that there is very little difference. Nevertheless, we would
always give this advice. With a 0906 number play safe. Let
the client do the talking. Let them lead the conversation
and where it is going. If they become more explicit, then
they will expect you to be so as well.
So
when the line is installed do I have to work 24/7?
No.
The hours you work are entirely up to yourself. However, when
you are not working you must not unplug the phone or turn
the ringer off. Instead, the call must be answered by an answering
machine that is set to, or that, ONLY PLAYS OUT GOING MESSAGES.
The message should be customised by yourself, as to the times
the service is available. i.e. "I am sorry I am only available
between 1400- 2200 hrs. Please try then." Or something like.
" I am away on holiday at the moment please call again after
the 26 August"
Alternatively, if you do not wish to use an answer machine
message then you must only advertise declaring the hours of
business.

Won't I miss
out if I turn my phone off?
Of course, you may miss some calls, but we all have to rest.
The secret is to find out what your clients like, so that
they come back time and time again. They will even get to
know what days or times you work and will probably call you
accordingly.
How do I build up my
clients?
Obviously, you can advertise in magazines, newspapers, free
papers etc. Try to find a niche angle for your service and
perhaps a publication where there are fewer similar adverts.
I have a
limited budget for advertising.
Don't worry there are some very inexpensive ways to further
your business. Build yourself your own web page. Then submit
yourself to all the search engines and directories. Many of
our ladies find this works really well for them and attracts
a lot of business. Your page will obviously have your number
on it and it must also have the ICSTIS warning of call cost,
address or PO Box No etc, but it can also have enticing images
on it.

I don't
want my photographs on the Internet.
No. The pictures need not be of you. When you see cards in
telephone boxes do you really think that the girl pictured
is the one at the end of the telephone? You are selling a
fantasy not a reality. They will never see you. You can be
whatever they want you to be and as old or as young as they
want. But you must own the copyright of any picture(s) you
use or at the very least use royalty free ones. It is a criminal
offence to use someone else's photograph without their permission.
However, some of our ladies love to use photographs of themselves.
It adds to the spice. Besides, it need not show your face,
but it might be fun to show the other bits and let their imagination
work out the rest.
How else can I advertise
cheaply?
Two words. Chat rooms. Yes, that is how many of our ladies
started. In fact, we have more than one or two high earners
who started that way. One particular lady said, "I used to
do it for free. Then I started with you and I have earned
far more than I thought possible and had much more fun. All
I do is go into a chat room and when I get them interested
I ask them to call me. It is cheap and easy and now I've got
my regulars, and a nice fat cheque to look forward to every
month."

Did she have any other
tips?
Yes. Some might baulk at paying a £1 per minute so she also
took a 60p per minute line and sometimes quoted that. All
she had to do is keep them talking that bit longer. But better
that, than lose potential business.
Seems a great idea but can I have a discount if I have more
than one line?
Of course, we want you to make money and you may have a 25%
discount for every extra line you take. Therefore, feel free
to go for a mix. 0909, 0906, £1/min, 60p/min, etc. The choice
is yours.

I don't
want to put my address in an advert.
No problem. Nobody does. But under ICSTIS regulations you
must provide a contact address. Therefore, we can provide
you with your own PO Box for a yearly fee.

Will I enjoy it?
Do ducks like water? Yes, if you enjoy it, it will come across
to your clients and ensure regulars. Have fun. Relax. Remember,
your callers are buying a fantasy. You can work from the comfort
of your own home and look or wear what you like. But tell
them differently when the call. They won't want to picture
you in your fluffy slippers. But then again they might. There
is a market for all ages and looks. Use props if you like!

I might be too nervous
Yes you might be at first. That is only natural. But so will
the caller. Just try to be natural and sincere. That is far
better than someone overacting. Callers prefer real women
and not necessarily pin up dolls. Ask them questions. Find
out their tastes and fetishes and lead them accordingly -
in short, relax. Have fun and we are sure you will be fine.

What
can I say when I answer the call?
As
you take more and more calls experience will take over. But
just get them in the mood. Firstly ask their name, where are
they from, how old, what do they look like and then most importantly
what do they like. The "what do you like?" question
is the most leading one. They, of course, might tell you about
their train spotting hobby.:-) If they do, great. You are
earning money every minute they are talking. The chances are
they will tell you something a little more saucier. This,
then gives you a chance to question them further and prolong
the call.
Of course, some might be a bit more direct
and mindful of the cost of the call. They will want action
straight away and expect you to deliver. Don't worry you will
soon get the hang of it.
In short, have fun, relax, enjoy and
we are sure that you will earn a high income and have fun
while you are doing it!
